Mirror's Edge Catalyst is a first-person action-adventure platform game which takes place in a futuristic city named Glass. We control Faith, who lives her life as a free-runner on rooftops with substantial skills in parkouring and fighting, after losing her parents.
Mirror's Edge Catalyst is a complete reboot of the 8 years old franchise. It takes place presumably at an earlier stage of Faith's life than the first game. Game provides free-running with parkour movements and quick melee-style attacks in an open world. You can choose to stop to fight or run from security officials. There is a wide range of enemies who have different strengths and weaknesses. You can also unlock many different movement and combat skills with XP that you gain from main and side missions along with dashes and other small missions. Your goal is usually reaching the destination at the shortest time possible. You are free to choose your path and how to move along.
